This week I’m revealing my design plans for the One Room Challenge!
Disclosure: Sometimes I use affiliate links which could earn me a commission if you buy something after clicking one – all of which I will spend on making sure I’m my dog’s favorite human. (Sorry, Brad.)
I’m almost ashamed to say it because the room has been through so many iterations already, but the room I’ve chosen to re-do for ORC is the guest room!
This room has been my playground for experimenting with decor and truly, I think it’s helped me hone in on my skills and settle on a style that feels like “me.” Now that I’ve learned some design lessons, and since this room gets a ton of use, starting from scratch feels like a worthwhile thing to do.
Here is my design plan.
Art // Clock // Driftwood // Articulating Lamp // Blue Pillow // Cream Pillow // Cane Bowl // Vase // Rug // Curtain Rod // Curtains
Here is the space now.
And the space before that.
And before that.
(Yea, I can’t keep up with myself either!)
The first progress update will be next Thursday so stay tuned.
As furniture starts arriving, I can see my vision come together…

Love the term moody coastal! And I hear you on redecorating a room so much you can barely keep up yourself. Story of my life with the constant tweaking! The mood board is so light and airy – can’t wait to see how it all comes together!
