I’ve shared this space a few times on Instagram since we finished it a few weeks ago, but I’ve finally put together a photo tour for you! The goal of our Phase One “renovation” was simply to brighten up the space and get it furnished so that we could use it to it’s fullest function. In future phases, we plan to install new wood flooring, cover up the wall ledges, paint the ceiling, install new overhead lighting, and replace the windows, doors and accompanying hardware. Admittedly, we may also swap in a larger sofa to replace the one you see on the right (above). That one will get moved to our office.
My original plans for the space as well as the ‘before’ photos can be found here. And all of the details on our fireplace DIY can be found here. Sources are linked at the end of the post. Enjoy!

How does your small sofa from six penny feel? Would you recommend it? about time for a sofa review!

Hi Eunice! I’m embarrassed that it took me this long to get to your comment! We’ve had our Sixpenny for about 8 months now so I feel confident I can give a proper review. I’ll do that ASAP! In short, we are going to sell it. It’s not the right sofa for us. More soon!
